Velma stared at her firstborn, wondering, ‘what did I do wrong?’ Her instincts answer, “You are a few of many who have made their dreams come true. Your father and I are the roots. You are the fruit from that tree that managed to survive. If the roots are weak or unstable, they won’t be able to bear fruits.” Velma walked to the window nearby and instructed her, “come over here.”
